1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We treat similar technologies (such as the browser's local storage) the same way as cookies.
2. Cookies we use
Necessary - for signing in, language, remembering your cookie choice and protecting forms from bots. They work without consent because the site cannot work without them. Analytics - Google Analytics 4, only with your consent. Until you consent, the Google script is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. Marketing / visit source - only with your consent, the orbis_source cookie stores the ad campaign tags (UTM) and the referring site of your first and latest visit, and the page you first landed on. Orbis uses it only to see which channels bring people. It does not store the values of advertising click identifiers (only which kind was present), and the data is not shared with advertising networks or anyone else.
3. Consent and how to change it
On your first visit you choose: accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Refusing is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page or on this page. When you withdraw analytics consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
4. How long we keep it
Your choice is valid for 12 months; after that we ask again. We also ask again if we change this policy. The record of your choice (a random ID, the chosen categories, time and language - no IP address) is kept for 13 months so we can show that consent was given.
5. Data transfers
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be processed outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are sent by a person, not a bot.
