1. Who This Applies To
This agreement applies to every mentor whose profile is published on the Orbis Mentor platform. It supplements the Terms of Use, which continue to apply in full.
2. Your Relationship With Orbis Mentor
You are an independent provider, not an employee, agent or partner of Orbis Mentor SIA. You decide your own availability, session formats and prices. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment or exclusivity relationship.
3. What Mentoring Is and Is Not
Orbis Mentor is a platform for mentoring and experience exchange. It is not therapy, medical care or psychological treatment, and you must not present your sessions as any of those. If a mentee needs professional help, refer them to a qualified professional.
4. Your Profile and Availability
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, including the experience and headline you state. Keep your availability current: a booked slot is a commitment to attend. Repeated no-shows may lead to your profile being unpublished.
5. Payments and Commission
Sessions are paid for by the mentee through the platform. Orbis Mentor retains a 20% commission on each transaction; the remainder is your net earnings. Earnings become eligible for payout after the session is delivered and any refund period has passed, and are paid out periodically. Payouts are shown in the Wallet section.
6. Keeping Sessions on the Platform
Sessions arranged through Orbis Mentor are held and paid for on the platform. Moving a mentee off the platform to avoid the commission is a breach of this agreement and may result in removal.
7. Recordings and Confidentiality
Sessions may be recorded with consent, and recordings are kept for a limited period. Treat everything a mentee shares with you as confidential, and do not reuse or publish it.
8. Ending the Agreement
You may unpublish your profile and stop accepting bookings at any time. Sessions already booked must still be delivered or cancelled under the Cancellation and Refund Policy. We may suspend a profile that breaches this agreement.
